Funny Joke Don

Funny Joke Don

By John Sammon

Oh Don, on Memorial Day you went to Arlington National Cemetery and during comments made a funny joke.

Listing the names of fallen soldiers like “William, John and James,” you mentioned Donald and then said there were, “not too many” (meaning dead buried service members named Donald).

Then you laughed.

Funny joke Don….on Memorial Day…. at Arlington Cemetery… the nation’s preeminent military cemetery…at a ceremony to commemorate the sacrifice of war dead….

I didn’t know you’re a comedian Don.

Don, you laugh at your own joke.

Now your supporters Don, they have two options.

First, deny that this happened. Say the liberal leftist media made it up.

Or, your supporters can make an excuse for it. Think hard (supporters). Make it good. Don didn’t really mean what he said. What he really meant was……Or, Don was just joking around because that’s the way he is, or Don this or Don that.

Come up with an excuse. You’re in too deep now to admit wrong or the truth.

If you refuse to believe Don told this joke look it up. You have to (figuratively) go down with the ship.

You know I feel sort of sorry for you (MAGA supporters), also disgusted. You are put in the position of having to make up an excuse and cover for everything that Don does wrong. You don’t have the courage of a Tucker Carlson (conservative commentator expressed regret for supporting Don).

Now Don, we know it’s the height of irony. You have spent your whole life avoiding military service like the plague with five draft deferments and a bogus medical condition (bone spur). You describe service members as “losers.” Don, you said this but you said you didn’t say this. You lie, then you lie that you don’t lie.

When you become President you have to pretend that they (soldiers) are not “losers.” You have to act like service members are important because you need them for war. You have to stand and salute and act patriotically.

You pose for pictures with soldiers who you secretly despise including generals who don’t agree with you….Because Don, you’ve never been one of them (a soldier). You can only be brave if you ride around in a limousine and act the big guy.

Concerning Vietnam you said, “I was never a fan of that war.”

Not a fan? Don? Is war to you a basketball game or a rock concert? Not a fan? Who’s not a fan of a war? Or better yet, who is?

You see Don, there are rare times when you accidentally tell the truth in spite of yourself (this is sometimes called a Freudian slip). The truth comes out.

One person who was appalled by your joke at Arlington said, “How low can a man go?”

Your supporters Don, they’ll have an explanation for it they always do.

But perhaps Don, if like you said there are in fact fewer “Donalds” buried in Arlington Cemetery. There may really be fewer Donalds there…if those Donalds are like you.
